photography + collages (##)
11×14 inch
film/negatives, papers, glues, ink

2009

i started playing with an old pentax k1000 in 2009. i tried and failed at taking traditional styled pictures. mine were boring, just horrible. i still loved processing and developing film.

so i started setting up collages and taking pictures of them. the darkroom is where i made things happen. when i was processing i’d experiment with times. i’d literally cut and scratch my negatives, which eventually ruined them.

i received an award for one of the pictures in 2010, and it was displayed at the phoenix art museum.
