dear diary,
i made an illustration for 9/11 seven years ago but i haven't a clue what it actually looked like, accept that it was black and white... i had an eye appointment that day as well. weird things you remember. i also still had a landline. and a lot more hope. maybe only a little more hope but it was seven years ago and a lot has changed in those seven. it's been a defining time, personally, professionally, and i think overall culturally. we have had so many awakenings since. it makes me wonder if any of those so-called awakenings will actually last.

my colorist painted pieces of my bangs pink, again. arik and i are going to see common on saturday and a fuel line in my saab has given up and out. that's something to take care of on another day. it's been kind of cloudy this week and i'm getting very excited about winter. mostly because of winter clothes, scarf's, and new experiences. what's really crazy is the fact that what i did seven years ago i am still doing today, but only today and tomorrow, it is so much different and so much fucking more.

i'm still burning relentlessly........
