how'd friday go? well, not so great. i have 9 cards on the wall, and one of them is face side down, to signify my drinking on the 4th. otherwise, great weekend, had lunch + coffee + good convo with andrea - an amazing creative director, tried a new thai place, family time with my sister and her fiance. and watched movies with arik. pretty lowkey. friday night, however, i missed a party, talked on the phone with an old friend until my battery died and to keep talking on the phone, my blackberry had to be plugged in. all in all good balance. this week i start on my new screen prints.

 i feel cheated, very, very, very, cheated. i totally forgot about this holiday that is the 4th of july and how many parties go on during this holiday.. and i don't know how to go to a party and not drink. i have been working on new poster designs all morning. i will set up screens of them soon (i actually need to buy new 16x20 inch frames) and get to work. part of me is like, OK - this is a god damn motherfuckin' holiday and i should be able to drink! (that's actually the txt msg i just sent to, like, everybody on my contact list) ** all the books i had in stock are now at MADE - if you're in phoenix, you should definitely check them out. will i be able to put a card on the wall tomorrow?! oh shit... xoxo, antigirl
