arik's birthday was pretty awesome. and i got so fucked up i couldn't remember me and that wasn't only to celebrate his 29th, but also to celebrate that i'm not letting any alcoholic pass my lips until my birthday. and that's 56 days and i think i can do it. even if other people have their doubts. my visual representation of this 56 day period will be a playing card glued to a wall in my studio space for each and every day. too bad there is only 52 cards in a deck...

my sleep is really erratic right now. i don't think there is any other word to describe it. i always said i wanted a schedule of where i'd wake up super early (around 2ish) and take a nap in late afternoons and another nap in the late evening. but now that has somehow happened, i wish i never hoped for that. i think. i seem to be still managing to work on a lot of stuff though, so that's good. i just do it with darker circles now. arik's birthday is friday. he is going to be 29. this is super weird. we're taking him to durants.
